A Message from Foundation Leadership

The 2022-23 fiscal year was truly historic. With great pride, USF joined the Association of American Universities, the most prestigious association in higher education. The AAU comprises just 71 institutions — the top 3% of research universities in the U.S. and Canada. For the fifth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report ranks USF among the top 50 public universities in America.

In addition to these accomplishments, the Foundation experienced another banner year. Through the generosity of more than 37,500 donors, USF received commitments of more than $157 million to support our students, research and community. This represents the largest single-year impact in USF history and includes a record 11,800 new donors to the university.

And we’re just getting started!

Plans are underway to build an on-campus stadium. When this dream is realized, it will enhance the student experience, galvanize the local and campus communities, and energize current and future alumni.

We invite you to read these stories about the many ways you and other donors are changing lives and shaping USF’s future. Through the support of donors like you, our talented students now study in the Judy Genshaft Honors College building, student-athletes hone their athletic skills in the Porter Family Indoor Performance Facility and students are receiving experiential learning opportunities through new corporate partners’ investments to grow the region’s talent pipeline.

The ripple effect of USF’s relentless pursuit of excellence is demonstrated through our students, graduates and faculty. Thank you for making this a momentous year that will lead to a limitless future.
