USF Federal Credit Union is again elevating its support of the university through a $6 million gift to name the walkway that will lead into the future on-campus stadium, which will forever change the Tampa campus and USF community for the better. USF will recognize the gift by featuring signature signage at the walkway’s entrance, located off USF Genshaft Drive.

Their love blossomed in a newsroom. During the late 1970s, Joe Hice worked as a reporter and later as the business editor at the Tampa Times, where Sandy Caswell was an editorial news artist. They married in 1981 and both enjoyed long, successful careers in journalism, marketing and public relations — united by another passion every step of their shared journey: WUSF Public Media.

Tampa General Hospital and USF team up to strengthen pipeline of nurses with training and education
Tampa General Hospital (TGH) and the University of South Florida announced plans for a new nursing simulation lab at the USF Health College of Nursing to offer advanced training for nurses as they prepare to join the health care workforce. TGH is investing $4.4 million over six years to support the planning, construction and implementation of the new lab, which will be named the Tampa General Hospital USF Health College of Nursing Simulation Lab.
