Supporting Scholarships Through Celebration
The LGBTQ+ Lavender Graduation Ceremony celebrates the successes of our students by recognizing our Alumni Association LGBT Scholarship recipients and bestowing rainbow stoles on our graduating students. Since 2009, the USF Alumni Association LGBT Scholarship has awarded more than $80,000 to support our high-achieving LGBTQ+ student leaders and their allies throughout USF. The proceeds from the Lavender Graduation sponsorships, thanks to the support of our generous donors, are used to grow the USF Alumni Association LGBT Scholarship and continue to change lives.
A sponsor for the LGBTQ+ Lavender Graduation Ceremony can be acknowledged through the simple use of the organization’s name, logo, listing for services or products, location and contact information. In accordance with IRS guidelines for qualified sponsorship, no message in the event program (verbal or written) may promote or market a trade or business.
