Keep the Feed-A-Bull Pantry Stocked

Who We Are

With the coronavirus, many of our students have jobs that have been suspended due to closures or limited hours of operation and therefore are experiencing loss of income. To assist those who cannot afford groceries and other personal necessities, the Feed-A-Bull Pantry is ramping up operations in anticipation of the increased need by our students.

Feed-A-Bull is a campus food pantry created through a partnership with Feeding Tampa Bay and is available to students enrolled at the University of South Florida Tampa campus. It was created to address food insecurities by providing supplemental food to students in need, as well as education and resources to students related to purchasing and preparing balanced meals on a budget. To date, Feed-A-Bull has distributed over 50,000 pounds of food to students in need.

What We Do 

Feed-A-Bull strives to alleviate food hardship and hunger among USF students by providing supplemental food, nutrition education and resources to students in need, in order to promote student success and retention. Feed-A-Bull was created as a response to the recognition that some USF students face food insecurities, and supplemental food assistance allows students to focus on their studies. By providing emergency food assistance, Feed-A-Bull works to make sure that USF students do not have to choose between buying text books or buying groceries, and ensures that no USF student will go hungry.

Your Impact 

Feed-A-Bull Pantry is open despite USF's remote learning structure. USF recognizes that due to COVID-19, students may have reduced work income and decreased avenues for food; we are remaining open to assist with tightening food budgets. We have instituted updated protocols for checking in and receiving food that comply with social distancing and protect our student patrons.

Current hours of operation:
Monday: 2–5 p.m.
Tuesday: 9 a.m.–Noon
Wednesday: 1–​​​​​​​4 p.m.
Thursday: 3–​​​​​​​6 p.m.
Friday: Closed
