Students on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus

STUDENT CENTERED, COMMUNITY DRIVEN

As a proud member of the University of South Florida - a high-impact global research university dedicated to student success - the Sarasota-Manatee campus is unique in fostering a personalized learning experience where class sizes are small and faculty know and support students in their academic and career goals.  Students have a multitude of opportunities to engage in internships, study abroad, faculty-led research projects and service learning to gain practical experience. The Sarasota-Manatee campus features a Bloomberg lab with 12 terminals for students to learn real-time market analysis, biology labs at Mote Marine Laboratory, a Nursing Skills Lab for hospital simulation and the Culinary Innovation Lab in downtown Lakewood Ranch for students in the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.

One of the most significant strategic priorities for the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee campus is to build a new 75,000-square-foot Integrated Science and Technology Complex (ISTC). The proposed facility will develop and sustain transformational academic programs and will offer revolutionary experiential learning opportunities for our students, faculty and staff, which are steeped in the highest level in the STEAM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), business, education, health and more.

USF relies upon support from our community and from generous donors.   Whether you choose to invest in scholarships for our students or key initiatives, such as the Chancellor’s Fund for Excellence and the Building for the Future fund for the new Integrated Science and Technology Complex, every gift matters. Please explore the many opportunities to support the Sarasota-Manatee campus and how you can make an impact in the lives of our students today. Thank you for your support!
