Stampede for Women

The Project

USF Athletics believes in the power of sport in the lives of young women and in the experiences that prepare female student-athletes for success as an athlete and beyond. This fundraising initiative is focused on elevating leaders, empowering women, building champions and enhancing the female student-athlete experience in the classroom, community and in sport. USF Athletics is committed to providing championship resources and increasing opportunities for our female student-athletes.

Along with this initiative, USF Athletics has added two new women’s sports to provide more opportunities for female student-athletes. Starting in 2023, the sport of women’s lacrosse will begin and kicking off in 2024, beach volleyball.  Your gift supports 11 women’s sports programs and over 200 female student-athletes within USF Athletics. Gifts to Stampede for Women support student-athlete scholarships and career development opportunities.
