The Project 

The USF Libraries are establishing a new high-quality research collection of distinction, the Environment and Natural History Collection. Integrating more than 20 existing collections, this "meta-collection" will provide seamless access to data, discovery and analytical tools, primary research materials and legacy print/digital collections needed to fuel research and inform solutions. 

Who We Are 

The USF Libraries inspire research, creativity and has created an information ecosystem supporting innovation and knowledge acquisition to drive student and faculty success. We are evolving from providers of library services and collections to active partners in research and teaching. 

What Your Gifts Will Do

With your help, the USF Libraries can build a powerful and comprehensive environment and natural history collection. Your support will allow us to curate existing collections (like Florida Audubon); acquire, digitize and preserve rare resources; and conduct oral histories with experts (like Dr. John Ogden, featured in our video). This "collection of collections" will provide materials to facilitate analysis of past environments and present conditions and serve as a foundation for solutions for the future of our environment.
