Help the Houseless with Tampa Bay Street Medicine

Who We Are 

Tampa Bay Street Medicine is a student organization at USF Health dedicated to improving the medical care of the houseless in our community. Through direct outreach on the streets and in shelters, we seek to provide medical care, education, community connections and healthcare access to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. We work to engage individuals outside of the traditional healthcare system in order to assess each unique situation holistically and develop a realistic plan to improve their health.

What Your Gifts Will Do

Tampa Bay Street Medicine is a student-run service group and your donations provide critical support for our work. All proceeds will go directly towards supplies and equipment for patient care. A few examples include:

• Over-the-counter medications such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen, anti-histamines, antacids and more
• Wound care supplies such as bandages, gauze, antibacterial ointment and more
• Outreach supplies such as socks, blankets, hygiene supplies, women’s health supplies and more
