Who We Are
The Oracle has been a cornerstone of student life at USF, empowering students through journalism since 1966. For nearly 60 years, this student-led newsroom has consistently delivered breaking news, in-depth stories and a daily chronicle of life on the Tampa campus. An award-winning publication, The Oracle serves as a crucial training ground for aspiring journalists and advocates of the free press. Our alumni have become industry-leading reporters, communication experts, educators, attorneys and even political figures.
What We Do
We prepare the next generation of journalists by offering students practical, hands-on experience that complements their classroom learning. For those outside of journalism, The Oracle provides a platform for self-expression and fosters a deep sense of community within the university.

Your support is vital in ensuring The Oracle remains an independent hands-on training ground for future leaders.
