Who We Are

The Mosaic Pantry at Feed-A-Bull Tampa, created through a partnership with Feeding Tampa Bay, helps address food insecurity by providing supplemental food to students in need as well as education and resources related to purchasing and preparing balanced meals on a budget. To date, Feed-A-Bull has distributed over 240,000 pounds of food to students in need. 

In 2025, The Mosaic Company made a generous gift to help the pantry expand and add refrigeration, making it possible to offer fresh produce, dairy and ready-to-eat meals. Students can also access nutrition tips, easy recipes and personal hygiene items, while Federal Work Study students work alongside staff to maintain a welcoming space.

This expanded pantry strengthens Feed-A-Bull’s mission to help students stay healthy and succeed academically by ensuring they have consistent access to nutritious food.

What We Do

Created as a response to the increasing number of USF students who face food insecurities, the pantry allows them to continue to focus on their studies. By providing emergency food assistance, Feed-A-Bull works to make sure they do not have to choose between buying textbooks or buying groceries and that no one will go hungry. 

Your Impact

Thanks to donor support, Feed-A-Bull has grown significantly over the years and has expanded its space in the Student Services building to assist more students in need. 

Through our partnership with Feeding Tampa Bay, we can purchase food at lower prices, making your donation even more impactful.

Non-perishable, non-expired food donations are welcomed year-round, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. (except university holidays) in the Student Service Center SVC 0002. Find more info at usf.edu/feedabull.

USF Faculty and Staff: You can give online through this site, or complete a payroll deduction form (enter fund #590076, Feed-A-Bull Operating Fund) and email the form to fscampaign@usf.edu.
