Who We Are
The new USF Bellini College of AI, Cybersecurity and Computing launched in fall 2026 to create a hub of expertise in computing fields. The Bellini College works collaboratively with companies and other academic units across the university (including medicine, engineering, business, arts and the social sciences) to enhance USF's interdisciplinary approach to research and talent development as computing technologies advance.
What We Do
The Bellini College works closely with industry experts to align academic programming to today’s standards and ensure that our students are well-prepared to enter the workforce and make an impact in dynamic, technology-based careers upon graduation. Experiential learning opportunities are a critical component of a Bellini College student's journey because it complements in-classroom education with practical opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios. Experiential learning opportunities include industry certifications, AI and cybersecurity competitions, student research presentations at conferences, student-led conferences and organization programming, among others.
The Impact
In order to compete with students from peer institutions for well-paid, technology jobs, it is critical that students obtain specific certifications and practical learning experiences prior to graduation. However, many USF students do not have the means to fund certifications, participate in travel competitions and conferences to present their research or host industry experts at their own events. University funds are also insufficient, limiting how many students can access these experiences. Your gift will provide the resources needed for our students to gain practical experiences that are critical to building their career readiness and that may otherwise be out of reach.
