Who We Are

USF Health believes in the power of nature to restore balance and promote healing. Every day, we witness the need for recovery, resilience and emotional well-being among those who visit our medical facilities on the USF Tampa campus. We are passionate about creating more natural spaces that support healing and enhance the care of every individual.

What We Do

Therapeutic gardens are becoming an essential feature of health-care environments, offering a place for reflection, mindfulness and recovery. We aim to bring a Therapy and Mindfulness Garden to the Morsani Center for Advanced Healthcare — a research-driven space designed to promote overall well-being for patients, students, caregivers and employees.

This garden will have features such as:
• Wellness pavilion
• Meditation deck / overlook (boardwalk structure)
• Waterfall
• Labyrinth
• Butterfly garden
• Stepping-stone path
• Memorial tree
• Benches for reflection and rest

Your Impact

Designed with intention and backed by clinical research in integrative medicine, this garden will provide a space for resilience, rejuvenation and healing. It will be a sanctuary for patients undergoing treatment, students managing the stress of their studies, caregivers seeking solace and employees dedicated to caring for others. Your support brings this vision to life.

What Your Generosity Will Do

Your gift will directly support the design, creation and implementation of this transformative green space outside the Morsani Center for Advanced Healthcare. It will foster collaboration among multidisciplinary specialists, provide a hands-on educational experience for students and offer a serene retreat for all who visit.
