Support St. Pete Feed-A-Bull to Help Students in Need

Who We Are

The St. Petersburg campus food pantry, St. Pete Feed-A-Bull, has provided our actively enrolled students with supplemental food assistance since 2020, when the pantry opened to address student food insecurity. 

With operations oversight by the Office of Student Outreach and Support, pantry visitors also receive additional assistance to remove barriers related to chronic food insecurity issues, especially important as the cost of living remains high.

Our food pantry recently acquired a Smart Locker to enhance the efficiency and privacy of pantry services for students, faculty and staff. This outdoor, refrigerated unit is designed to provide a more discreet and convenient pickup experience. With the new locker system, we can fulfill orders and place them in a secure, climate-controlled environment, allowing students to pick up their items at their convenience — even after office hours. 

Our mission is to ensure that students do not have to choose between buying textbooks or groceries. No USF student should go hungry!

What We Do

To ensure that no student has to make a choice between buying food or staying in college, the St. Pete Feed-A-Bull food pantry offers groceries to help students when they need it most.

We do our best to provide a variety of nutritious foods, from fruits, pastas and beans to refrigerated items and even pet food. Additional funds will allow us to continue to provide essential items to our students. 

Your Impact

If a student is hungry, it is hard for them to focus on their studies and succeed at USF. Your gift to St. Pete Feed-A-Bull will reduce the anxiety of food hardship by providing students in need with free and unlimited access to nutritious food.

Thanks to the partnership with Feeding Tampa Bay, we are able to purchase food at lower prices. Your donation brings an even more significant impact.

What Your Generosity Will Do

Your generous financial support will ensure the St. Pete Feed-A-Bull pantry can provide food relief to every student who needs it. It will also allow us to continue to expand our offerings of fresh foods and other perishable items.

Additionally, we welcome donations year-round of non-perishable, non-expired food items. The pantry is open to receive them Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. in the Office of Student Outreach and Support on the second floor of the Student Life Center (SLC).
