Support St. Pete Feed-A-Bull to Help Students in Need

Who We Are

The St. Petersburg campus food pantry, recently renamed St. Pete Feed-A-Bull, has provided our actively enrolled students with supplemental food assistance since 2020 when the pantry opened to address student food insecurity. 

With operations oversight by the Office of Student Outreach and Support, pantry visitors also receive additional support to remove barriers related to chronic food insecurity issues, especially important as the cost of living remains high.

We have consistently helped eight to 10 students per week. Students can confidentially order their groceries online and then come by the pantry in the Student Life Center (SLC) Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to pick up their order. 

Our mission is to ensure that students do not have to choose between buying textbooks or groceries — no USF student should go hungry!

What We Do

As the cost of living rises, more USF students struggle to make ends meet. To ensure that no student has to make a choice between buying food or staying in college, the St. Pete Feed-A-Bull food pantry offers groceries to help students when they need it most.

We do our best to provide a variety of nutritious foods but are limited with no refrigeration. We would like to raise funds for a refrigerator to offer students fresh and refrigerated foods, too. 

Your Impact

If a student is hungry, it is hard for them to focus on their studies and succeed at USF. Your gift to St. Pete Feed-A-Bull will reduce the anxiety of food hardship among USF students by providing students in need with free and unlimited access to nutritious food.

Thanks to the partnership with Feeding Tampa Bay, we are able to purchase food at lower prices. Your donation brings an even more significant impact.

What Your Generosity Will Do

Your generous financial support will ensure the St. Pete Feed-A-Bull pantry can provide food relief to every student who needs it. If we raise enough funds to buy a refrigerator, we can expand our offerings to include fresh foods and other perishable items!

Additionally, we welcome donations year-round of non-perishable, non-expired food items. The pantry is open to receive them Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. in the Office of Student Outreach and Support on the second floor of the Student Life Center (SLC).
