Who We Are
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at USF (OLLI-USF) is a dynamic, member-based community of individuals over 50 who join together to teach and learn in an engaging environment, form interest groups with like-minded members, volunteer on special projects, and make new friends. Our mission is to promote the joy of learning and personal creativity.
What We Do
It is now understood that the lack of socialization can have physical health implications. Lifelong learning is the ANSWER! Lifelong learning is not just about acquiring new skills or knowledge; it's also about personal growth and fulfillment. We welcome donors who believe in the transformative power of education and want to support programs that empower individuals to pursue their passions, explore new interests, and unlock their full potential. By contributing to lifelong learning initiatives, supporters can help enrich the lives of learners and inspire a lifelong love for learning.
Your Impact
The Lifelong Learning Institute at USF serves nearly 2,000 active older adults every year. Additionally, instructors teach approximately 300 courses over our 3 terms. Our reach extends into neighboring cities to help older adults remain active.
