Who We Are
The USF Health College of Nursing is at the forefront of nursing education, research and practice, committed to delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive care and understanding the social determinants of health through a collaborative team approach. Our mission is further enriched by the introduction of the Mo-Bull Nurse Medical Clinic, a mobile health unit designed to extend essential health services to Tampa Bay's most underserved populations.
What We Do
Mobile health clinics like the Mo-Bull Nurse Medical Clinic are crucial in making health care accessible to those in remote or underserved areas, bridging gaps in the health care system and preparing future health care providers through experiential learning opportunities. By reaching people where they live and work, we not only provide immediate care but also contribute to the broader educational goals of the USF Health College of Nursing.
The Mo-Bull Nurse Medical Clinic is equipped to offer primary care within a 38-foot mobile unit featuring two exam rooms, a restroom and refrigeration for vaccines. Staffed by advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), the clinic serves as a pivotal clinical training site for nursing students at both undergraduate and graduate levels, offering interprofessional rotation opportunities for USF Health students. This initiative is guided by a community advisory board consisting of leaders from the health care, humanitarian and public safety sectors.
