Osher Reentry Scholarship Endowment
Scholarships for reentry students, which are defined as individuals who have experienced an interruption in their education of five or more years and who want to resume their undergraduate university studies to complete their first baccalaureate degree. The candidate should anticipate participation in the workforce for a significant period of time subsequent to graduation and are, ideally, between the ages of 25-50 years. Demonstrate financial need. Students who are attending part- or full-time, with a strong preference given to newly matriculation students at the institution and Osher Reentry Scholars who have re-applied and continue to meet all other criteria, show academic promise and a commitment to obtaining a degree. Open to any major in any college on the Tampa campus. Scholarships are renewable (up to 8 semesters) so long as the student continues to meet all of the eligibility requirements. Scholarships are not intended for students who are: at the graduate level, seeking an additional degree, exclusively enrolled in online courses or international students who are visiting the U.S. with the intention of returning to their country of origin after graduation.
