Albert (Al) & Mattye Davis nee Sp8s Memorial Scholarship
The Albert "Al" & Mattye Davis nee Sp8s Memorial Scholarship is a university-wide endowed scholarship in the Opportunity Scholarship Program and is renewable. Scholarship criteria: Students must have graduated from a high school in Hillsborough County; must meet USF's established GPA guidelines for merit-based aid; be enrolled full-time as a degree-seeking undergraduate student; and must have demonstrated financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and be eligible for the Pell Grant. Strong consideration to be given to a first-generation college student, which is defined as neither parent has earned a college degree at the baccalaureate level or higher, or in the case of any individual who regularly resided with and received support from only one parent if that parent did not earn a baccalaureate degree.
