USF's New Era Fund

Preeminence is the highest designation that a research university can earn from the State of Florida. Since the designation became Florida Law in 2013, USF has had its sights firmly set on achieving preeminence. While our journey to reach national excellence started long before then — and by no means will stop now — USF has finally reached all the thresholds necessary to achieve the designation. Naturally, we rose to meet this challenge, driven to always be better than we were the day before. But preeminence isn’t the end of the story. This is just the beginning of a new era for USF and our community. The possibilities are endless.
