The Project

By giving to the USF Fund for the Morsani College of Medicine, you help ensure that tomorrow's physicians are well equipped to provide top-notch care, develop life-saving treatments, and conduct world-class research. This fund also allows for scholarship aid to attract the brightest, most talented candidates to our MD program.

Who We Are

Over the past 50 years, the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine (MCOM) has played a leading role in the health and well-being of our region, serving as Tampa Bay’s champion in academic medicine. From first year to fourth, our medical students receive hands-on clinical training to acquire the skills necessary to become practice-ready physicians. These skills are introduced during the student’s first venture into the medical school curriculum and then taught and evaluated during all four years of their medical school experience.

Whether by training the next-generation of physician leaders, producing groundbreaking clinical research, or bringing the highest-quality care to our more than one million patients annually, MCOM is leveraging the power of academic medicine to transform health in Tampa Bay and beyond.

Your Impact

Outside of a rigorous and highly competitive academic curriculum and training program, our MD students are widely engaged in helping our Tampa Bay region. Community service and outreach initiatives have long been a tradition at the College. We are committed to providing leadership in dealing with the quality of health and life issues that affect our community and abroad. Our community outreach programs take healthcare outside of the classroom and hospital walls, thus giving our medical students the opportunity to provide appropriate healthcare to people in need.
