The Project

The Engineering Diversity Programs Fund is all about making our community better. From providing funds to help get students through their last semester and supporting students who give back through mentoring local high schoolers, to helping host our community partners on campus, this fund is all about transforming our tomorrow, today. This USF Giving Week, we invite you to join us by making a gift to support our community and help our diverse students take one step closer to making their dreams of an engineering career a reality. 

Who We Are

The College of Engineering comprises seven academic departments and supports 11 major research centers actively engaged in local and global research activities with focuses on sustainability, biomedical engineering, computing technology and transportation. USF College of Engineering Justice, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (JEDI) is committed to fostering new pathways and reducing barriers in STEM for individuals from historically underserved communities. The lack of diversity in engineering and computer science represents a loss of opportunities for individuals, a loss of creative talent in the workforce, and a loss of creativity in shaping the future of the nation. 

Your Impact

With your support, we’ll do more for our students and our community. We can grow the number of diverse students who successfully graduate with an engineering degree. Those students will go on to design the world and technologies of tomorrow, inspiring others along the way. With your support, we’ll change lives and communities together. 

What Your Gift Will Do 

Your gifts will be used to support the diversity and inclusion work at the College of Engineering. Our staff will use this fund to award emergency scholarships, support undergraduate students mentoring local high schoolers, and help host community partners when they visit USF.
