Empower our Future Physician Assistants

In 2017, 30 brave students took a chance on the newly established USF Health Morsani College of Medicine physician assistant (PA) program. Since then, we've graduated six classes and now rank in the top third of all PA programs nationwide, according to U.S. News and World Report.

This fall, the college's PA class of 2026 will embark on a challenging, two-year journey to become the next generation of top-notch physician assistants. Unfortunately, many of these students will face significant financial burdens while pursuing their studies.

Today, we invite you to invest in these students' dreams by sponsoring their first clinical white coat. Together, we can empower these future PAs to reach their full potential and shape a future where compassionate and skilled health-care providers thrive.

Through generous donations from our community, health-care system partners, friends and families, we can gift each incoming PA student with their first clinical white coat, embroidered with their name and the USF Morsani College of Medicine seal.

These coats are presented during the PA program Commitment to the Profession Ceremony, where students are welcomed into the profession by USF Health faculty and take the Physician Assistant Oath. The coats are then worn during clinical simulations in Year 1 and clinical rotations in Year 2.
