the project

We successfully made the leap online, a brand new venture for this program. Along the way, we lost a number of our members who have not found learning via Zoom to provide the same benefits of in person learning. As we prepare to expand into a hybrid model, simultaneous online AND face-to-face classes, we need equipment to help us develop new, lower capacity classrooms and the technology to capture and transmit the classroom online.

who we are

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is a learning community of adults age 50+. Founded in 1993, OLLI-USF provides year-round opportunities for older adults to learn, socialize and find purpose. OLLI members and talented others in our community join together to offer 300+ classes, workshops and lectures for themselves and for thousands of area residents.

the impact

Strengthen and build lifelong learning throughout the USF community, ensuring this program is here for you and yours in the coming decade.

what your gifts will do

Help OLLI-USF develop an ability to offer effective hybrid classes to build upon the promising start we have made online. Your gift will help us acquire specialized equipment for the hybrid classroom along with training for hundreds of instructor-volunteers.
