The Project
The USF Ambassadors were founded in 1979 and this year we're celebrating our 40th anniversary as the “Spirit of USF.” Your gift to the USF Ambassadors 40th Anniversary Scholarship Campaign supports current and future members of the USF Ambassador program.
USF Ambassadors do not receive any financial compensation for their work as student leaders and strictly volunteer out of love and passion for USF. There are nearly 60 ambassadors across the three USF campuses who dedicate hours each semester serving USF by attending alumni, donor and faculty and staff events for departments across the campuses, including the President’s Office, Provost's Office, Alumni Association and the colleges.
Your Impact
Your gift of any size will be used to fund scholarships to be awarded to current members of the organization to help offset their USF financial expenses (tuition, fees, books, housing and meals). Many of the students in the program work part-time jobs, have student loans and rely on scholarships to finance their USF education.
By supporting this campaign you are helping to offset the college expenses of our students who work hard every day, not only representing USF, but also academically. Your generosity means a lot to the USF Ambassadors — you are teaching the importance of giving back and supporting others along the journey.
As this fund grows, if it reaches endowment level the fund can be converted to an endowed fund. This will allow the fund to create earnings in perpetuity to be used for scholarships.
