Who We Are

The University of South Florida School of Theatre & Dance facilitates the growth of creative and academic artists and scholars. Rigorous training in the studio and classroom combined with frequent performance opportunities give students practical experience.

Dance students can earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a concentration in ballet or contemporary dance, or a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Studies. The school also offers minors and undergraduate certificate programs that are open to non-majors and non-degree-seeking students. Our alumni go onto successful careers in a variety of roles — from performers and teachers to choreographers and costume designers.

What We Do

If you're a dancer, you have more than likely heard, "Ten minutes to curtain!" and responded with a resounding "THANK YOU, TEN!"

As the USF Dance Program seeks to engage more alumni and friends of the arts and our university, we invite all to give a $10 gift that will aid in programmatic costs, student impact and performance enhancement. This challenge is focused more on raising friends who invest in the program rather than a specified amount of money.

Your Impact

Your gift will help ease the financial burden many arts programs are facing. From covering the cost of students' dance attire to bringing in world-renowned choreographers and teachers, your support ensures that The Arts at USF remains a vibrant community where all individuals can experience the magic of performing arts.

USF Faculty and Staff: You can give online through this site or complete this payroll deduction form (enter fund #230096, Dance Excellence Fund) and email it to fscampaign@usf.edu.

What Your Generosity Will Do

Your generosity will go directly to the students, facilities and performances of the USF Dance Program. From covering the costs of costumes and specialized dance shoes for financially burdened students to updating our studios and rehearsal spaces, your support ensures that USF Dance will continue its upward trajectory on the national stage.
