Student Government Green & Gold Scholarships

The Project / challenge

Student Government wants to recognize the efforts of outstanding members of our student population through the Student Government Green & Gold scholarships. The talent, drive, passion and leadership of our USF Bulls is remarkable. Through this scholarship we want to bring recipients closer to their dreams by helping them accomplish their educational goals.

Who we are

The guiding philosophy of the University of South Florida's Student Government is to ensure an optimal student experience by advocating on behalf of the student body, shaping university policy and fostering school pride. To learn more about Student Government at USF, please visit us here.

As a newly consolidated Student Government administration, we now represent all three locations of the USF student body: Tampa,  St. Petersburg and Sarasota-Manatee. Last year, we were able to make awards to two USF Tampa students who embodied the mission and values of Student Government. This upcoming year, we hope to expand this academic opportunity to more students from all campuses.

the impact

Support from donors will offer assistance and motivation to USF students from all campuses to continue their path towards leadership, success and giving back. We will recognize students with significant experiences in civic engagement, women empowerment and Bulls spirit.

These $500 scholarships will help boost many of the pioneers of our world’s next generation. Whether our students go on to be a future U.S. congressman establishing bills to further human equality, an epidemiologist discovering new ways to control a disease outbreak, or a NASA climate scientist studying the effects of global warming, know that your support is key in keeping our students motivated and on track to make great impacts in our communities.
