Who We Are

The Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy in the USF Muma College of Business is an AACSB-accredited leader in accounting education, offering undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs. Named after distinguished alumna Lynn Pippenger, the school prepares students for success in public, corporate, government and nonprofit accounting. With strong industry partnerships, talented alumni and expert faculty, students gain valuable networking and career opportunities. Its mission is to develop skilled, ethical professionals who make a positive impact on the accounting profession and society.

This Project

Bill Stephens devoted 35 years to teaching accounting at USF, where he was a beloved educator and mentor to thousands of students. His impact extended far beyond the classroom.

As faculty advisor for Beta Alpha Psi, Bill led USF’s chapter to become a top chapter in the world, a distinction it proudly maintains to this day. His leadership and dedication inspired excellence and built a lasting culture of achievement.

In recognition of his 35 years of dedicated service to USF students and the Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy, we invite you to consider a gift to the Professor Bill Stephens Memorial Scholarship.

Longtime accountancy leaders Tina '80 and Dan Johnson have graciously established the Professor Bill Stephens Memorial Scholarship by contributing the initial gift to spearhead this campaign.
