Who We Are

In 2017, 30 students took a leap of faith by enrolling in the brand-new USF Health Morsani College of Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) program. In just a few short years, the program has grown into one of the top-ranked in the country — now recognized as the No. 2 PA program in Florida and in the top third nationally by U.S. News & World Report.

Our graduates go on to serve communities across Florida and beyond. With a 100% first-time pass rate on the national certifying exam, they’re prepared to lead from day one.

What We Do

This year, the PA Class of 2028 will begin their journey in our new, state-of-the-art downtown Tampa medical school building, continuing a tradition of excellence that defines USF Health. As these students prepare to enter the profession, many face financial challenges. Your gift today will help ease that burden.

Gifts to this campaign sponsor each student’s first clinical white coat — a symbol of their commitment to the profession — and support essential student success initiatives, professional development and scholarship opportunities that will help shape their future careers.

Through generous donations from our community, alumni, friends, and families, we can gift each incoming PA student with their first clinical white coat, embroidered with their name and the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine seal.

These coats are presented during the program's Commitment to the Profession Ceremony, where students are welcomed into the profession by USF Health faculty and take the Physician Assistant Oath.
