Who We Are

The USF Health School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences (SPTRS) is dedicated to "Moving Lives Forward" through innovation, discovery, knowledge, expertise, leadership, collaboration and partnerships.

The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, Master of Science in Athletic Training degree, and orthopaedic residency program are designed to help students innovate and lead in the fields of health and wellness. We provide excellent educational opportunities, a growing research enterprise, a physical therapy center providing clinical care to patients in the Tampa Bay area, and various service opportunities for faculty and students to give back to our communities.

Our position within the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine fosters unparalleled collaboration, enhancing our educational, clinical care and research efforts. Together, we are all "Making Life Better" and "Moving Lives Forward."

On Feb. 27, SPTRS will honor the Class of 2028 by presenting students with their first white coat, welcoming them to the physical therapy profession and affirming their oath of professionalism. Today, we invite you to invest in these students' dreams by making a gift to sponsor their first white coat.

The Commitment to the Profession Ceremony is a critical and meaningful annual tradition. It shows our students that, from the very beginning of their "Moving Lives Forward" journey, a grateful community has backed them and invested in their success as they enter a life dedicated to healing and improving the lives of others.
