Who We Are

At the College of Education, we are committed to preparing educators who lead with skill, compassion and vision by collaborating with communities and creating dynamic learning environments for students. More than 23,000 alumni serve local school districts as administrators, counselors, educators and coaches for a combined impact of $1.5 billion in educational labor income.

What We Do

Through the College of Education Student Success Fund, we offer timely and essential assistance to students who encounter unexpected hardships that could otherwise disrupt their academic progress. These circumstances may include medical emergencies, housing instability, transportation challenges, family emergencies, natural disasters or temporary gaps in funding that affect tuition or overall cost of attendance. The fund is designed to respond to immediate needs that place students at risk of disengaging from their studies. While the fund does provide direct financial support and scholarships, its primary purpose is to remove short-term barriers so students can remain enrolled, stay focused on their coursework and continue progressing toward their goal of becoming educators.

Your Impact

A gift to the College of Education Student Success Fund has an immediate and meaningful impact. In the past, we have been limited on the number of scholarship awards and the dollar amount we can distribute to each student. Your support helps us increase the number of scholarships awarded annually and expand the amount to cover more costs based on each student's need.

Emergency financial support can be the difference between a student dropping out or staying on track to graduate. By investing in this fund, donors help remove financial barriers, support student persistence and strengthen the pipeline of future educators who are committed to serving our communities.
