Who We Are

The USF Electrical and Computer Engineering program empowers bright, curious students to grow into confident innovators ready to shape the future. Our curriculum goes beyond teaching technical skills by nurturing creativity, encouraging teamwork, developing leadership and inspiring a commitment to improving lives through technology. With flexible academic pathways and hands-on experiences powered by strong industry partnerships, students get real opportunities to turn ideas into impact. We are empowering the next generation of engineers to dream of bold engineering solutions that change the world.

What We Do

A key part of our mission is ensuring students have the tools and support they need to thrive. The EE Student Technology and Scholarship Fund directly supports students by enhancing lab and classroom technology and by providing scholarships for electrical engineering majors at all academic levels. This fund helps remove financial barriers and ensures students have access to high‑quality equipment and meaningful academic support.

Your Impact

Hands-on labs are essential for electrical engineering students, and your support maintains the specialized equipment that turns classroom learning into real-world experiences.

Your gift supports fully powered learning environments and labs across campus, including:

• Engineering Building Labs: 11 stations teaching electronics, digital circuits, microprocessors and related coursework.

• Controls and Robotics Labs: Eight stations teaching automation and systems.

• WAMI Lab: Eight stations supporting wireless and microwave information systems.

• Power Lab: Eight advanced stations teaching critical power and energy training.
