Who We Are

Support-A-Bull Market has provided all actively enrolled students on the St. Petersburg campus of USF with emergency food assistance since its inception in Fall 2019. Created with support from Student Government, the pantry addresses food insecurity experienced by a significant percentage of our students. With operations oversight by the Office of Student Outreach and Support, pantry visitors also receive additional support to remove barriers related to chronic food security issues, especially important as the cost of living continues to increase.

What We Do

If a student is hungry, it is hard for them to focus on their studies. Support-A-Bull Market was created to reduce the anxieties of food hardship and hunger among USF students by providing students in need with free and unlimited access to food. Since opening, we have assisted over 800 students with individual food bags, totaling approximately 6,062 pounds.

Students can confidentially order their groceries online and then come by the pantry Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to pick up their order. The pantry offers an outside private entrance for students uncomfortable walking through the Student Life Center (SLC) common areas.

We strive to ensure students do not have to choose between buying textbooks or groceries so no USF student goes hungry.
