Who We Are

The Global Sustainability master programs at USF prepare students to address complex regional, national and global challenges related to sustainability and the ability to innovate in diverse cultural, geographic and demographic contexts.

The mission of the Patel College of Global Sustainability (PCGS) is to achieve sustainable development, both locally and globally, by fostering social, economic and environmental sustainability.

We accomplish this through teaching, research, mentoring students and community outreach, as well as by generating practical knowledge and developing innovative technologies, skills and policies.

What We Do

Our graduate program is unique because we offer the best sustainability experiential learning opportunities for our students. This interdisciplinary program is designed around a curriculum of natural sciences, engineering, social sciences and business studies, and will prepare students to address complex challenges related to water management, renewable energy, food resources, sustainable transportation planning and green entrepreneurship.

The interconnections between many fields are highlighted with emphasis placed on systems and nexus thinking, circular economies, sustainable development goals, and the triple bottom line of people, planet and prosperity. What Your Generosity Will Do
