The Morsani College of Medicine: MD Student Hardship Fund

Who We Are

The Morsani College of Medicine is more than a medical school program. We promise aspiring, passionate students an open culture of accessibility to faculty, patients and technology through a challenging curriculum with diverse educational experiences. We foster an environment where students realize their own creativity and innovation to make a difference in the lives of patients and their communities. We are transforming medical education and will boldly create leaders who will transform the DNA of health care, one person at a time.

What We Do

Help our future physicians through unexpected tough times by making a gift to support MD students when they need it most. Becoming a physician is hard enough with strenuous study hours, a tough curriculum and clinical rotations. The MD Student Hardship Fund exists as a cushion for our students facing dire challenges, such as a death, long-term illness or natural disaster.

Your gift will give our students peace of mind during the toughest of times and ensure that the brightest MD candidates will go on to become fantastic physicians who represent USF with Bull pride!

What Your Generosity Will Do

Through the MD Student Hardship Fund, students can apply for one-time emergency funding to get them through and allow them to stay committed to the MD program.
