Stock the Student Food Pantry on Tampa Campus

Who We Are  ​​​​ ​​​​​

The Feed-A-Bull Food Pantry serves students on the USF Tampa campus. Created through a partnership with Feeding Tampa Bay, the pantry provides food to students in need, as well as education and resources related to purchasing and preparing balanced meals on a budget. To date, Feed-A-Bull has distributed more than 105,500 pounds of food to students, and the need continues to grow as the cost of groceries, housing and other items increases.

What We Do

If a student is hungry, it is hard to focus on their studies. Feed-A-Bull was created to alleviate food hardship and hunger among USF students by providing emergency food assistance, nutrition education, and resources to promote student success and retention. Feed-A-Bull strives to ensure that students do not have to choose between buying textbooks or buying groceries and that no USF student will go hungry.

Your Impact

Your generous support of the Feed-A-Bull campus food pantry will help hungry students continue to focus on their studies at USF instead of worrying about their grocery bills. Feed-A-Bull has grown significantly over the past year due to your gifts and continues to outgrow its space in the Student Services Building. Your gifts will not only ensure the pantry is stocked with various nutritious offerings but will support further expansion to assist even more students in need.

The pantry's hours of operation are listed below, with the exception of university holidays when it is also closed. Students may drop in for food and employees may drop off non-perishable, non-expired food donations during these hours:

• Monday:  2-5 p.m.
• Tuesday:  9 a.m. to noon
• Wednesday:  1–4 p.m.
• Thursday:  3-6 p.m.
• Friday: Closed

If you are interested in being a part of our on-campus donation drive of non-perishable items during Giving Week, please refer below for the drop-off locations and times:

• Bull Market at MSC: April 12, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• Rocky's Birthday Bash at MSC: April 13, 6–9 p.m.

• Sam and Martha Gibbons Alumni Center:  Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
