Bulls L.E.A.D. Program

Who We Are

The College of Engineering (COE) comprises seven academic departments and supports eleven local and global actively engaged major research centers with focuses on sustainability, biomedical engineering, computing technology and transportation.

What We Do

Bulls L.E.A.D. is a people-focused, technical leadership initiative for engineering students fostered by the COE Dean's Office. The program prepares engineering student leaders to think and lead as they work to solve challenges through life-enhancing, technical innovations. Participants sharpen critical competencies such as self-confidence, selflessness, courage to take risks, and integrity to do what is best in the context of people-centered leadership. Students become transformational models who will make the right kind of difference by focusing on people — the world's most precious raw material.

Your Impact

Your gift will support a free program for students that provides opportunities to connect with industry mentors, participate in leadership events, access coaching sessions and earn a Leadership Certificate to include on their resume.

What Your Generosity Will Do

The Bulls L.E.A.D. Program Operating Fund helps cover expenses that allow participants to develop a sense of belonging to the program and be more engaged and comfortable representing themselves and the program. Funds are used to provide uniforms to all participants, supply food and materials during meetings and workshops, and acknowledge participants who successfully complete the program and graduate with their degrees with a graduation stole and certificate.
