WLP/Geraldine Twine Endowed Scholarship

History
This scholarship was founded on July 1, 2016, by Barbara Twine-Thomas. Judge Twine-Thomas seeks to honor her mother, Mrs. Geraldine Twine, through a scholarship at their mutual alma mater, USF. Mrs. Twine obtained three degrees from USF in the immediate post-segregation era while raising a family and working full-time. Judge Twine-Thomas believes that her mother's story will be motivating to young women. This scholarship supports full-time students pursuing a pre-med major or in the Morsani College of Medicine.
