Scholarships for USF students with demonstrated financial need, who are residents of Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, or DeSoto County, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and provide evidence of personal growth potential through proof of:

a) active participation in school and/or community activities and/or

b) active employment to support self and/or family; leadership potential demonstrated by an essay responding to the concept of balancing service to others while in pursuit of personal goals.

Preference for students enrolled in fall and spring classes at least half-time at the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus pursuing a baccalaureate degree. This scholarship is renewable for Selby Achievers who continue to meet the above requirements for their Fall and Spring semesters until they graduate.
