To provide scholarships for tuition, books, and equipment to undergraduate and graduate students studying Nursing Education at USF Sarasota-Manatee. This scholarship is restricted to residents of Manatee or Sarasota County, is renewable, and is based on merit and financial need. Recipients must have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA or the USF-established GPA requirement for merit-based aid, whichever is higher. This scholarship is for full or part-time students in the College of Nursing at any academic level. Students must be enrolled at least part-time (6 hours) and may be enrolled in fall, spring, or summer classes full or part-time at the University of South Florida. Recipients must be pursuing a baccalaureate degree or master's degree and have been accepted into the College with a Nursing Major. This is renewable up to 8 semesters (Students must meet USF requirements for renewal). Preference to students studying Nursing at USF Sarasota-Manatee and secondarily to students studying Nursing at USF St. Petersburg or USF Tampa.
