Help Our students stay afloat
Even under the best circumstances, students encounter financial challenges that create obstacles to their ultimate goal of completing their degree. With the outbreak of COVID-19, many of our students are now facing new financial realities, forcing them to make the tough choice between staying in school and dropping out.
Who We are
The USF St. Petersburg campus created the Stay AFLOAT Scholarship to give a financial boost to students who need some extra help making it through the school year. This fund provides assistance to students to help them stay on track and earn their degree.
We are especially grateful to our longtime supporters Kate Tiedemann and Ellen Cotton who donated $50,000 to this fund to help students impacted by COVID-19.
