WLP/Moira J. Burke Endowed Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria
This scholarship is for full or part-time students at all academic levels in the College of the Arts pursuing a major in the School of Music. Merit and financial need should be considered. Preference for a pianist and student in the Judy Genshaft Honors College. Preference for students involved in issues impacting women and/or who plan to pursue a career focused on issues that impact women. Funding renewable up to 8 semesters.
History
Dr. Moira Burke is a renowned opthalmologist, clinicl professor, humanitarian, and philanthropist. Dr. Burke always secretly loved the piano and shared that it was the only other degree she would have pursued if not for medical school.
