Sarasota Anonymous Endowed Scholarship
Scholarships for Manatee and Sarasota County residents who are recovering from alcoholism or drug abuse. Minimum one year's residence in Manatee or Sarasota with an intent to remain in the county; minimum of two years demonstrated sobriety; active and regular participation in a "Twelve Step Program"; maintenance of a stable living arrangement; degree-seeking status at USFSM with evidence of strong academic motivation and goals; statement of commitment evidencing realistic social and academic expectations and goals; financial need; and GPA.
